Customer Loyalty & Gift Cards 

RMS Add-on Customer Loyalty Program  Top of Page

Customer Loyalty is integrated with the RMS POS program requiring the cashier to only answer simple yes and no questions.  The features provided by Customer Loyalty enable you to create an effective marketing program to attract and maintain customers.  One of the first steps in any marketing program is to collect information about your customers.  The features in Customer Loyalty allow you to provide incentive to customers to want to give you their information.  After you have collected the information you can custom tailor the features to keep you customers returning to your business.

Coupons and Rewards Loyalty Program Top of Page

This application creates a points, or rewards program within RMS to accumulate redeemable points each time a purchase is made. Each inventory item is assigned a certain number of points whish is stored in the inventory table. When a customer comes in and makes a purchase the points are taken and stored into the customer record. Next time the customer comes in to make a purchase and is called up in RMS the accumulated points show up in the status window at the top of the screen. When a purchase is made the points accumulated print on the receipt. Rules are set up according to the store, regulating how many points must be accumulated before they may be redeemed. When the points are redeemed, they are automatically deducted the point count in the customer’s record.

Gift / Loyalty Module  Top of Page

The loyalty module works only at the store level and not in a multiple store environment. This module allows the customers to be recognized for their frequent shopping. This module allows the shopper to get either a Gift Certificate or Credit on his /her account. In this definition when 400 points are collected a 20.00 value is given back to the customer. The points can be calculated on either sale of items, departments or categories. For each item purchase price total you define the number of points that will be given. The gift point stimulator allows you to see how many points will be given for a specific purchase value. You can define which customer is participating in the program. The program is either: “Gift Voucher” which means that when the number of points are met at the POS after printing the receipt a voucher type item is printed for the value “Credit on Account” means that when the number of points are met at the POS after printing the receipt the customers balance is credited for the value.

Promotion Module  Top of Page

This module allows the user to define unrelated promotion that can be both amount and % related. The promotions types can be “One to One Promotion” (Buy this get that), “Many to One Promotion” (Buy this and this, or this and this and get that), “One to Many Promotion (Buy this get that and that and that). The promotion can be defined either at store or at HQ. In HQ environment the 401 Worksheet will automatically take the new promotions to all other stores.  The cashier scans and when the tender key is pressed the valid promotion is given.

ECommerce

NitroSell Top of Page

NitroSell integrates to your Microsoft RMS & POS2009 database and extracts all inventory items marked for web usage. It uses this information to generate a full-featured online catalog, allowing you to sell your merchandise on the world wide web.  All web orders are then downloaded back to the POS and removed from inventory.

RMS Inventory batch application with the Symbol 1800 - Wireless Inventory may be accomplished utilizing a Symbol 8800 or any other device with Windows Pocket PC. Batch inventory may be accomplished utilizing a Symbol 1800 or 1500 Data collection device. Using the 1800 the RMS user can take a physical inventory by scanning the Item number location and quantity and upload it back to RMS.

Receiving application with the Symbol 1800 - Automated receiving may be accomplished utilizing a Symbol 1800 or 1500 Data collection device. Using hot sync, Open or partial purchase orders are downloaded to the device. When goods come in, a barcode representing the purchase order number is scanned, or a specified PO may be picked from a drop list. Then the line items appear on the screen. If it is obvious that all the items match the counts on the PO the receiving person can press the “receive all” button.

A shipping document is created in RMS via the Pick ticket, a work order or sales order which is sent to the shipping department. The order is picked, packed, and checked. When the order is ready for shipping, the operator may scan or key the order number into the shipping system automatically calling up the customer from the RMS database with no data entry. The order is then processed, passing the tracking number and actual shipping charges back to the host.  Eliminates redundant data entry and proliferates time savings!

Wild card lookup  Top of Page

Wild Card Lookup is designed to assist RMS end users in searching for specific data in the inventory or customer module. Wildcard may be based on progressive or exclusive search.

RMS Pick Ticket  Top of Page

Pick ticket is designed to assist companies processing web and phone orders to locate inventory prior to shipping. When an order is processed, a pick tick is generated showing the bin location in the warehouse where the item is stored.

WIC (Women’s Infant Children)  Top of Page

The customer presents the WIC Check at check out, whereby the cashier enters the start date, the end date and the not to exceed amount of the WIC Check. The items are then scanned calling up the WIC pricing from the inventory database.  After all the items are scanned the cashier tenders the transaction, the application then checks the total due against the do not exceed amount. If the predetermined amount is exceeded the cashier receives a confirmation box asking if they want to adjust the total. If they respond affirmatively RMS will enter a new line item adjusting the total accordingly.

M100 Deli Scale  Top of Page

Allows item lookup codes and prices changes to be downloaded to the M100 scale located in the Deli, Meat and produce departments.

Gift Registry  Top of Page

This application creates a "gift registry" account which will give the participant who is registered for the "Gift Registry" an account ID. After registering at customer service the Registry participant can then sign on to a hand held device.

RMS Auto Cashier Log-out  Top of Page

Add-in brings additional functionality to RMS POS by logging cashiers off after a specified amount of time.

RMS Global Customer Edit  Top of Page

Global Customer Edit expands upon existing global customer management at the Store Operation level by allowing POS terminals to edit existing customer information. These updates are distributed throughout all stores, continually allowing the most current global customer information to be accessed at all locations.

Loss Prevention Suite  Top of Page

A robust utility that prevents negative quantity or duplicate item returns, refunds over the original purchase price, and refunds to a different credit card. Creates warning messages to remind cashiers to empty over limit till drawers. Locks the terminal screen during inactivity time periods. Gives control back to business owners who have issues with internal loss.

People PoP  Top of Page

People PoP connects with internet databases to search for a customer's information based on phone number. Creates a new customer record in the database based on its findings and associates the pending sale with the new customer record. Helps to speed up POS entry and streamline the check-out process.

Mix & Match  Top of Page

Mix and Match allows the creation of flexible discounting schemes beyond existing RMS capabilities. Create broad product categories to allow for special price promotions by category or department.

Credit Card PoP  Top of Page

Credit Card PoP searches the existing client database to retrieve the credit card information from the client's previous sale. Helps to speed up POS entry and streamline the check-out process.

Archiving  Top of Page

RMS does not have an inbuilt method for taking out data from the existing database, compacting and reducing the size of the active database whilst keeping an archive of the old data for reporting and audit purposes.

Customer Price Matrix  Top of Page

RMS add-in in certain wholesale operations the customers negotiate certain special rates for items. RMS currently supports only 4 standard prices per item (regular, A, B, and C). This special program is designed to extend the price of the item and allow every customer to have a special price if required. The price can be defined by Customer Accounts type, Department, Category or for each customer per item.

ID Manager  Top of Page

This program is to make sure that for purchase of certain items Identification is presented and certain data are collected. The application allows the user to configure different fields/forms.

Multi Location RMS Add-in  Top of Page

Multi Location module expands the RMS Store Database to manage multiple stock and sales location.  This opens up the possibilities for a large RMS database to be used to manage: where a large store may have various locations where stock is kept and sold from, a Warehouse environment, Furniture stores. where multiple stores are in a logical network area. The module permits each location to have its own cost and price. 

Stock Take  Top of Page

This application allows for periodic StockTake to be taken and the store stock to be adjusted. The system allows you to define the items (or groups of items) that you want to do StockTake on. The system will show items that have been counted and that are discrepant. The portable data capture terminal (PDT) can be used to: Perform StockTake, Price Check, Price, Change, Shelf Edge Label print on mobile printer - Ranging, assign bin location to items in the way the store is dressed, Create/Receive Purchase Order, Create/Receive Transfer Ins, Create/Issue Transfer Outs, Sell using PDT and print receipt on the portable printer (Queue Busting), Create Work Order and print receipt on portable Printer, Create Quote.
