What is required to run SoftTouch Hospitality Management System? These are minimum requirements.  It is always recommended to be running on the latest platform of hardware and peripherals to ensure optimal performance and reliability.  POS Retail Solutions will be happy to provide a inspection of any existing hardware and provide you an analysis of it's compatibility.

Operating System and Software	Windows® XP Home/Vista Home Basic/ XP Embedded for 1-2 stations, Windows® XP Professional/Vista Business for 3+ stations
Required Hardware Resources	Pentium 4, 1GHz or above 512MB memory 20GB + disk space Raid 1+ support preferable but not required UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) External storage for backups (Thumb drives, memory sticks, etc...)
Additional items or services required to use certain features	Touchscreens 800x600 screen resolution for 12-17 inch screens 1024x768 screen resolution for 19+ inch screens 1024x768 screen resolution for 17 inch and below is unsupported   Printers Network or Wifi printers for remote printing (kitchen printers) Parallel, USB, Wifi and Bluetooth Local printers with cutter (receipts, reports, if used as a remote printer it must be a network printer) Most printer brands are supported Serial printers not supported Windows shared printers not supported
